Residing in Korea since 2020. He hails from Udumalpet, Tirupur district, Tamil Nadu.

Sampathkumar Jeevanandham received his B.Tech. in Energy and Environmental Engineering from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. 

He then received his M.Tech. in Nanotechnology from Amity University, Noida, India. He is currently pursuing his 5th year Ph.D. in Chemistry from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) (S. Korea). 

His current research interest includes the Electrochemical-driven Synthesis of 2D Catalytic/Plasmonic Nanoreactors for Energy and Environmental applications.

He has been actively involved and contributed to most of the KTS-organized programs and social activities.

Actively participated in National Cadet Corps (NCC-Students Wing) and was a "C" certificate holder.

He played a pivotal role as the Game Secretary of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) from 2016 to 2017 and conducted several national-level tournaments. He is also a passionate hockey player at the University/Zonal level.
